Hosted by our college, the International Symposium on Tidal Flat Evolution and Modeling Technology was held from Oct. 23 to Oct. 31, 2016. Professors Marcel Stive and Zhengbing Wang from Delft University of Technology, Dr. Qinghua Ye from Deltares, Professor Ian Townend from University of Southampton, Professor Shunqi Pan from Cardiff University, Associate professor Giovanni Coco from University of Auckland, Associate professor Andrea D’Alpaos from University of Padova and well-known experts and scholars from Sun Yat-sen University were invited. Professors Zheng Gong, Yongping Chen, Associate professors Zeng Zhou, Jianfeng Tao and PhD students Xindi Chen, Kun Zhao and Master student Liang Geng participated.
